Jordan Tull provokes the exchange between artwork, site, and viewer through sculpture and installation. Tull has produced site-specific sculpture for architectural settings throughout Portland, Oregon, and he is also recognized for his unnerving and repressively erotic object-based sculpture.
Jordan Tull holds a BFA in Sculpture from the Kansas City Art Institute (2003). He has exhibited his work widely in Portland, Oregon at venues including Mark Woolley Gallery, Tractor, Little Field, IGLOO, the Oregon College of Art and Craft, Half/Dozen, Disjecta, and most recently Wieden + Kennedy Gallery at W+K world headquarters. His work has been reviewed by the Willamette Week, Portland Monthly Magazine’s Culturephile, Portlandart.net, and Saatchi Online Magazine. Tull is an Artist to Watch in the Spring 2011 edition of Whitewall Magazine.
Since 2005, Jordan Tull has served Portland’s design, architecture and public-oriented art community as a designer, fabricator and consultant. Presently, Tull operates a private design and build practice which caters to discerning clientele, Tull is also a project manager and creative for Steelab Project.
